Submission terms
Version 1.0 — draft
Not live yet. This is a working draft and must be reviewed by a solicitor before submissions open or any money moves through the catalogue. Don't publish this page as final.
In plain English: you keep your music. We just get permission to play it, promote it and clip it. You can walk away whenever you like. In return we play you to the world, credit you every time, and send people to your socials. We never sell your track on to anyone without asking you first.
1. What you're giving us
By submitting a track you grant Livegen Radio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:
- broadcast and stream the track on the station and its simulcasts, including YouTube, Twitch and any app or directory the station is carried on;
- include it in station playlists, mixes, charts and archived shows;
- use short excerpts (up to 60 seconds) in promotional clips on social media, with credit;
- display your artist name, track title, artwork and social links;
- store a copy for broadcast purposes.
Non-exclusive means you can do whatever you want with the track everywhere else — release it, sell it, licence it, send it to other stations.
2. What you keep
Everything else. All rights you hold in the track remain yours. We claim no ownership.
3. What you're promising us
- The track is AI-generated or AI-assisted, and you created it.
- You were on a plan that grants you commercial rights when you generated it. Free-tier generations do not qualify.
- The track is not registered with PRS, PPL, or any other collection society, label or publisher.
- The track does not use an AI voice clone or vocal imitation of any real, identifiable artist.
- It contains no samples or stems you don't have the right to use.
- Nobody else has a claim over it.
- You have the right to grant this licence.
If any of that turns out to be untrue we'll pull the track immediately, and you're responsible for any claim that results.
4. What we promise you
- Credit by artist name on air, on the site, and in any clip we make.
- Your socials linked wherever we reasonably can.
- We won't sell, sub-licence or sync your track to a third party — an advert, film, game, or branded station — without asking you first and agreeing terms separately.
- We won't edit the track beyond normal broadcast processing without telling you.
5. Payment
Submission is free. Airplay is free. We do not currently pay for airplay, and you don't pay us. If and when a revenue-share scheme launches it will be offered separately, and you'll be free to opt in or out.
6. Ending it
Email us and we'll remove the track from rotation within 7 days. Clips already published may remain, and archived shows already recorded may still contain it, but we'll stop new use. We can also remove any track at any time, for any reason.
7. What gets a track rejected or pulled
See our rules — voice clones or imitations of real artists, anything presented as human-made, hate speech or content targeting a real private individual, uncleared samples, anything registered with a collection society, and explicit content outside a show flagged for it.
8. Your data
We store your name, email, socials and submission details to run the station and contact you about your track. We don't sell it. You can ask us to delete it — see our privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version you accepted at the time of submission is the one that applies to that track, and we record it. Material changes will be notified by email.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
